I have been working on trying to get a 3D print of my Tommy bot figure out, for over a year now on an off, its been extremely challenging as this thing has huge amounts of negative space, so you wouldn't believe the amount of useless bits of plastic I have on my work bench right now :) . In order to get this 3d print working I have had to break it up into components and print separately, and then assembly it once I have cleaned up all the parts. Hence the excuse to create some Airfix/Tamiya style instruction sheet on how to assembly this model. The model is not perfect and would probably be hugely improved on a serious professional printer. But I like its a little rough around the edges, and I kind of think this adds to the charm of the character , and takes the edge off being created digitally. I'm really hoping to improve on this print, and design with the creation of new poses and figure variations plus eventually some vehicles to go along with the set.
